Transition Check-Out
& BFR
When you pick up your Sting or Sirius LSA, we provide the following at no additional cost:
• Systems & maintenance training specific to your aircraft, conducted by our A&P.
• Ground school specific to your aircraft, conducted by our CFI.
• Transition flight check-out in your aircraft, conducted by our CFI.
• BFR included with your transition check-out.
Five hours of flight training are included, and additional hours are available at the CFI's hourly rate, so bring a spouse, friend, partner or your CFI and we will check them out too. |

Sting & Sirius aircraft are fully equipped and ready to fly. Prices include all costs of assembly and certification, shipping, port and customs fees, registration, transition training and even your BFR (see sidebar)!

Sting & Sirius aircraft are full-featured and very well equipped in their standard configuration:

- GRS ballistic aircraft recovery system (whole-plane parachute).
- Excellent visibility, tinted canopies. The Sting has a large, 360º tinted canopy with canopy lock, roll bar.
- Engine: Rotax 912ULS (100hp) four cylinder, four stroke, with stainless steel exhaust system and Rotax slipper clutch.
- Full time carburetor body heat with no power degradation.
- Oil cooler with bypass thermostat.
- Auxiliary electric fuel pump.
- Hobbs meter.
- Propeller: 3 blade, ground-adjustable carbon fiber composite propeller.

Glass panel options are available for Sting & Sirius aircraft. The panel shown at right features a standard TruTrak EFIS with optional integrated AutoPilot and Straight|Level system on the pilot side, a GRT Horizon EFIS with synthetic vision on the co-pilot side, and a Garmin SL30 Nav/Com radio in the stack. The backup T&B has been upgraded to the TruTrak ADI attitude direction indicator. The balance of the equipment shown here is standard. Other available options include:
