This page is dedicated to providing information of use and interest to Sting and Sirius LSA owners. The page is updated frequently, so check back often. Under the "OEM Links" tab, above, you will find links to suppliers of equipment most commonly found in the StingSport. We recommend that you visit their Web sites regularly for information and updates directly from the manufacturers. For a comprehensive listing of equipment and suppliers, click on the "Downloads" tab, above, and download the "Master Equipment List."
When you are headed to KORK to pick your new Sting or Sirius, you will want to download the Transition Check-Out Syllabus. The syllabus includes contact information, maps, approach plates, schedule and a detailed outline of the training involved in your transition to flying light sport aircraft.
The Rotax Owner Assistance Network (ROAN) Web site is of particular interest, as it is the primary source of information, education and support for the 912UL and 912ULS engines used in the StingSport. We encourage Sting and Sirius owners to register with ROAN to receive free, timely email notification of Rotax service document releases.
Much of the information here is provided in portable document format (PDF) and requires Adobe Reader software to open. Click here to download and install Adobe Reader.
Securing the GRS Parachute Rocket
An accident may require special handling to secure the rocket in the installed Galaxy Recovery System ballistic parachure. Rescue personnel are advised to read the manufacturer's instructions contained in the downloadable document, " Emergency Procedures For Rocket Secural," in order to avoid injury to themselves or others when opening the passenger compartment of the airplane. Clink on the link to view or download the document.
All files are in PDF format.
