Rotax Owner Assistance Network (ROAN)
The Rotax Owner Assistance Network (ROAN) is the primary source of information, education and support for the 912UL and 912ULS engines used in the Sting S3 and the StingSport. We encourage Sting owners to register with ROAN to receive free, timely email notification of service document releases.

Woodcomp Propellers
Woodcomp sro manufactures more than 150 types of fixed, ground adjustable and in-flight adjustable aircraft propellers at its high-tech facility in Odolena Voda, Czech Republic. The SR-200 wood-carbon ground adjustable prop with plastic leading edges is the standard propellor on the StingSport.

Galaxy High Technology Whole-Plane Ballistic Parachutes
These industry-leading whole plane rescue chutes are standard equipment on every Sting S3 and StingSport.

AmSafe Aviation
Manufacturerers of advanced crew and passenger restraints. The four-point inertial-reel restraint is standard equipment on the Sting S3. The FAA certified AmSafe inflatable airbag restraint is an available option.

TruTrak Flight Systems (PFDs, Flight Instruments & Autopilots)
TruTrak designs and manufactures technically advanced solid-state avionics for light sport and experimental aircraft. The TruTrak EFIS with Flight Director is the brightest, most intuitive primary flight display (PFD) available and can be installed with integrated single axis or dual axis autopilot. The attitude direction indicator (ADI) and the pictorial turn and bank instrument are the heart of the StingSport's Leading Edge Six Pack. The pictorial pilot and other dependable TruTrak autopilots are available as options.

Zaon Flight Systems
The Zaon MRX PCAS traffic awareness system is part of the typical instrument panel on the Sting S3 and the StingSport. The instrument is panel mounted above the Leading Edge Six Pack and integrated with the Sting's intercom to provide audible traffic alerts.

Garmin
The Garmin sport stack includes the satellite weather capable, dock-mounted GPSMAP 496 with satellite XM WX weather capability, the SL40 VHF transceiver and the GTX327 digital transponder. Optional Garmin Nav/Com equipment and Mode S transponders are available.

LightSpeed Aviation

PS Engineering
Manufacturers of the PM 1000II and the PM 3000 stereo intercom with individual volume and squelch controls.

AmeriKing

SkyDrive
The full-time Skydrive coolant carburetor heater adds a small amount of heat to the carburetor body in order to keep the temperature of the body above freezing point, so that any ice formed will not adhere to the carburetor throat. Because there is no significant heating of the actual intake air, the effect on engine power is negligible. Requires no pilot action. Standard equipment on every Sting S3 and StingSport.

Dynon Avionics
The Dynon EFIS systems (single or dual) are available Sting options.

Grand Rapids Technology
The GRT Sport or Horizon EFIS (single or dual) is an available Sting option. GRT also manufactures the EIS engine information systems formerly included with the StingSport.
